My Generation Blog: Thinking of Building A New Home? We’re Listening

Home Buyers Tell Us What They Want (and more) in a New Home

When we sit down to talk with a new homeowner we are in a very enviable position. As a custom builder we are able to listen and create a new home based on input from the buyer coupled with our ideas, experience and knowledge.

At Generation Homes that’s what being a personal builder is about. Many like the designs that already reflect casual coastal living and can envision their personal touches (and needs) easily integrated into existing floor plans.

“Where do we start? Is a question we hear a lot when beginning the process. Our approach is we are building their home. So understanding their lifestyle requirements are paramount to our success as a personal builder. That’s where we start,” said Donna Sadowski, vice president of sales and marketing forGeneration Homes.

We have the ability to differentiate between conversational chatter and what is important to our customer.  We listen. Go from their words to the definitions of those words and then to the values associated with them.

“Listening to our clients’ hearts and learn what makes them tick. That’s how we create and build trusting and lasting relationships,” noted Sadowski.

Generation Homes builds to withstand the test of time and maximize comfort. Using effective and proven construction techniques the builder has earned a well-deserved reputation for finish, style and sustainability.

We are building in Ponte Vedra Beach, Vilano Beach, St. Augustine Beach, Sea Grove, Anastasia Dunes, Sea Colony. Marsh Creek, Whispering Oaks and on various lots in St. Johns and Flagler Beach, Beach Haven, Oceanside in Palm Coast, in historic Beauclerc in Jacksonville as well as on private lots in Northeast Florida.
